METHOD FOR STICKING FILTER FILM TO OPTICAL MULTIPLEXING, DEMULTIPLEXING AND BRANCHING CIRCUIT

PURPOSE:To permit stable sticking and fixing of filter films by inserting the filter films on which an adhesive agent is coated into a filter film case and fixing the films together with the filter film case by the adhesive agent to a glass block. CONSTITUTION:The glass block 2 which functions as a prism and a light emitting collimator 5 are tentatively fixed into a V-groove of a ceramics substrate 1 and paste solder is previously coated on the joint part. These parts are integrally fixed onto the substrate 1 by heating. The front of the substrate 1 is previously subjected to vapor deposition of gold, etc. A prescribed number of the filter films 3 are inserted via the adhesive agent into the filter film case 11 and the case is tentatively fixed. The filter films 3 are thereafter stuck and fixed to the glass block 2 by using the filter film case 11. The filter films are thereby easily and stably stuck to the glass block.
