PURPOSE:To drive a stepping motor with optimum energy by driving the stepping motor by continuous pulses having different duty ratios in response to the fluctuation of output voltage from a rectifier circuit. CONSTITUTION:Output voltage from a rectifier circuit 3 is A/D converted by an A/D converter 6, and transmitted to a CPU 7 as the digital data of four bits. In the CPU 7, the fluctuation of output voltage is detected based on the digital data, and four kinds of driving pulses P1-P4 corresponding to the fluctuation are output. The driving pulses P1-P4 are changed into continuous pulses consisting of a plurality of pulses acquired by chopping normal driving pulses. The duty ratio of the continuous pulses is varied in response to the fluctuation of output voltage in order to drive a stepping motor 4 by optimum energy. |
