PURPOSE:To enable a thin wire to be inserted into a thin tube easily and quickly by hoding an easily bendable wire with a plurality of clamps at different positions along the longitudinal direction, holding a tube with a tube clamp, and inserting the wire into the tube while sequentially opening the wire clamps. CONSTITUTION:An air cylinder unit 78 stops at a position at which a tube clamp 72 has arrived after moving a predetermined distance, and a tube cutter operates to cut a tube 14 to a predetermined length. Subsequently, an air cylinder unit 39 projectively operates to move the respective wire clamps 34A-34I of a group of wire clamps 34. Whereupon, the respective wire clamps 34A-34I of the group of wire clamps 34 sequentially open because each cylindrical roller 49 thereof abuts on a depressing board 62 and is depressed, and they insert a lead wire 12 from grooves 76a, 76a into a tube 14 while avoiding the collision with clamp arms 74, 74. With this, a wire can be inserted into a tube easily and quickly.
