PURPOSE:To effectively connect a lead terminal to a substrate by contracting the interval of two lead terminal rows by bending a connecting plate, inserting the end of the substrate to the bifurcated end sections of both of the rows and connecting the terminals to predetermined electrodes on the substrate. CONSTITUTION:A pair of lead terminal rows 11 are connected by a connecting plate 12 in a state that the ends are maintained at an interval wider than the width of a substrate 2 to mount the ends to be opposed, the substrate 2 is disposed between the ends of a pair of lead terminals 8, the plate 12 is then bent to contract the interval between the two rows 11, the end of the substrate 2 is inserted to the bifurcated end sections 9 of the rows 11, and the terminals 8 are connected to predetermined electrodes on the substrate. Thus, the sections 9 can be formed in predetermined shape in advance, and the substrate 2 is engaged with the sections 8. Accordingly, both can be rigidly engaged to reduce an improper product generation rate.
