<p>PURPOSE:To record a pattern with a simple device by irradiating an optical recording material with light through a transparent mask capable of controlling a pattern electrically. CONSTITUTION:An optical recording material 7 is irradiated with light through a transparent mask 2 capable of controlling a pattern 6 electrically with a control device 11. A liquid crystal display plate is preferable as the transparent mask, but it is not critical particularly so far as it is a kind permitting electrical control of a pattern. Although silver salt film, photochromic material, and reverse photochromic material are cited for the optical recording material, reverse photochromic material is particularly preferred among them.
