The subject of the present invention is a device for transmitting information between vehicles which are coupled up. It is characterised in that each vehicle comprises at least one transmitter/receiver element 21 cooperating without contact with an equivalent element 22 of the other vehicle, the elements being mounted near the point of articulation 18 between vehicles.
