PURPOSE:To reduce impact noise occurring at the time of engaging a sprocket gear by dividing the sprocket gear into plural sheets, and arranging the divided sprocket gears with their phases being mutually different, and stretching a multiple chain between the divided sprocket gears. CONSTITUTION:Plural sprocket gears 6-8 on the side of the primary front drive shaft 4 are fixed with their phases being mutually different in each circumferential direction. Consequently, all the sprocket gears 6-8 can engage silent chains 16-18 in order at fixed intervals without simultaneously engaging the chains 16-18.
