<p>PURPOSE:To prevent wrinkles from developing and consequently easily obtain a high quality fixing roll by a method wherein a fluoroplastic (PFA) tube is hung in an evacuated vessel by being bent its one end part, and a rubber roll, the outer diameter of which is slightly larger than the inner diameter of the tube and on the outer peripheral surface of which adhesive is applied, is inserted into the tube under the condition that the atmosphere gas in the vacuum vessel is sucked from the other end part side of the tube so as to tightly contact the rubber roll in order to be made into an integral body. CONSTITUTION:A PFA tube 3 is interpolated in a vacuum vessel 2 and hung to a hook ring 4, which is provided in the opening part of the vacuum vessel 2, by bonding the upper end part of the tube. The interior of the vacuum vessel 2 is set through a suction pipe 1 to the predetermined evacuated state. Under the above-mentioned state, a rubber roll 9, the outer diameter of which is slightly larger than the inner diameter of the tube and on the outer peripheral surface of which adhesive 18 is applied, is inserted in the PFA tube 3. As a result, the PFA tube integrally, uniformly and tightly contacts the surface of the rubber roll 9 in the state that no wrinkle is developed. Further, since only the vacuum vessel is used and the need of highly accurate mold and the lie is eliminated, a high quality fixing roll is easily obtained in a simple process and at low cost.</p> |
