<p>PURPOSE:To decharge sheet reliably by providing an electrostatic decharging member on one of two rolls such that it will contact with the sheet while rotating. CONSTITUTION:Through rotation of a drive roll 9 at carry-out side, a pinch roll 10 will rotate in arrow direction together with a roll 23 or electrostatic decharging member, and upon advance of a sheet 11 between the drive roll 9 and pinch roll 10 it is carried out to a discharge tray 4. Here the roll 23 will contact with the sheet 11 while rotating to perform decharging. The outer diameter of roll 23 is slightly smaller than that of pinch roll 10 to apply no excessive force. The drive roll 9 may be replaced with a carry belt while said roll 23 may be replaced with a belt.</p> |
