PURPOSE:To prevent a radio channel registered as an idle channel just after application of power from being concentrated onto a specific channel by starting an idle channel search from a radio channel designated by numerical information stored in a nonvolatile memory. CONSTITUTION:A radiotelephony equipment having an abbreviated dialing function is provided with a nonvolatile memory for abbreviation dialing normally. A master set is provided with an initial value storage means A and a search control means B and prescribed numerical information relating to the talking is stored in the nonvolatile memory by the means A and idle channel search is started from the radio channel designated by numerical information stored in the nonvolatile memory by the means B at the idle channel search. Thus, a problem of a radio channel registered as an idle channel just after application of power concentrated on a specific channel is avoided, resulting that the operating efficiency of the radio channel is improved and the line connection time is reduced. |
