The invention relates to a system for enabling a cleaning ball to travel continuously through flexible or rigid pipes in order to clean them. The apparatus consists of a rotary piston 14 having an opening 15 inserted between two end plates 5, 12. The piston is turned by an electric motor 8. The cleaning ball enters the opening 15 provided for this purpose in the piston. The piston's continuous rotation drives the ball to the outlet 2 enabling it to move off into the pipe 3 which is to be cleaned. The apparatus can be adapted to all kinds of delivery pumps and to all diameters of pipes by making it of the appropriate size. <IMAGE>
