MONOCLONAL ANTI-IDIOTYPE ANTIBODY

摘要

NEW MATERIAL:A monoclonal anti-idiotype antibody having specificity for membrane surface antigen of a cell strain NPC-204 derived from epipharyngeal cancer. USE:A diagnostic agent, remedy for epipharyngeal cancer and reagent for studying carcinogenic mechanisms. PREPARATION:For example, splenic cells of a mouse immunized with a monoclonal antibody specifically reactive with a membrane surface antigen of a cell strain NPC-204 derived from epipharyngeal cancer is collected and subjected to cell fusion with myelomatous cells to prepare a hybridoma. A hybridoma capable of producing a monoclonal anti-idiotype antibody having specificity for the monoclonal antibody is then selected and cloned by a limiting dilution method to provide a monocloned hybridoma, which is subsequently cultivated in a serum-free culture medium to afford the aimed monoclonal anti-idiotype antibody.
