PURPOSE:To provide a resin composition outstanding in heat and chemical resistances, mechanical properties and molding processability, good in compatibility with or affinity for various materials, made up of a copolymer containing specific heat-resistant component and a copolymer composition having specific composition distribution. CONSTITUTION:The objective resin composition made up of I, a copolymer (I) prepared by copolymerization between (A) A1: a maleimide monomer and/or A2: unsaturated carboxylic acid monomer, (B) a monomer selected from B1: aromatic vinyl monomers, B2: unsaturated nitrile monomers and B3: unsaturated carboxylic ester monomer and (C) a copolymerizable monomer with the contents of the components A and C being 1-70wt.% and 0-50wt.%, respectively, and II, a copolymer composition (II) prepared by copolymerization between the components B1, B2 and (D) another copolymerizable monomer with such average composition as to be 3-35wt.% and 0-50wt.% for the contents of the components B2 and D, respectively, and contents of a copolymer containing >20wt.% of the component B2 and another copolymer containing <=20wt.% of the component B2 being 2-80wt.% and 98-20wt.%, respectively.
