PURPOSE:To enhance response and running performance by making fuel injection with time synchronization at certain unitary period of time while the engine is under a specific revolving speed, and by making reference synchronization at a certain crank angle while exceeding specific revolving speed. CONSTITUTION:While the engine 1 is in operation, a fuel injection control unit 20 calculates the fundamental injection pulse width Tp at a calculating circuit 21 on the basis of the suction air amount Q and engine revolving speed N. Then another calculating circuit 24 corrects the fundamental injection pulse Tp with the air-to-fuel ratio correction factor lambda set at a setting circuit 23 in accordance with the judging result from an air-to-fuel ratio judging circuit 22 whether the air-to-fuel ratio is rich or lean to serve calculation of the fuel injection pulse width Ti*. At this time, a revolving speed judging circuit 25 judges if the engine revolving speed N is under specific value or not, and if yes, the timing selecting circuit 26 selects the fuel injection timing with time synchronization at specific unitary time of period, followed by outputting, and if no, the fuel injection timing with reference synchronization at specific crank angle.
