PURPOSE:To prevent a spin and prevent the deflection of a vehicle caused by a wheel lock by comparing the calculated rotating speed difference between the right and left wheels with the preset value and controlling to limit the differential operation if the rotating speed difference calculated at the time of braking is larger than the preset value. CONSTITUTION:A controller 20 receives signals from a braking start detecting means 14, a rotating speed detecting means 16 of the left wheel, and a rotating speed detecting means 18 of the right wheel for calculation and comparison. If the calculated rotating speed difference between the right and left wheels is larger than the preset value, an operation means 22 is controlled so as to limit the differential operation of a differential limiting mechanism 12.
