GRADER FOR ROAD SURFACE

PURPOSE:To permit the device to be applied even to comparatively small-scale earth-moving vehicles by a method in which a working blade is attached to a supporter in a movable manner between a working position and a housing position, and the supporter is attached to the vehicle body through a specific link mechanism. CONSTITUTION:The supporter 4 of a road grader 2 consists of left and right- handed front frames 10 and 12 and a rear frame 14. The right and left-handed blades 20 and 22 of a working blade 6 are pivotally attached to the frames 10 and 12 in such a way as to enable the blades 20 and 22 to turn freely between working position and housing position. The link mechanism 8 consists of a front linker 96 and a pair of rear linkers 98 and 100, and the lower end of the linker 96 is connected to the supporter 4 and the upper end is connected to the rear of the vehicle body 80 in a turnable manner. The lower ends of the linkers 98 and 100 are pivotally connected to the supporter 4 and the upper ends are pivotally attached to the rear of the body 80. They are turned around axial lines extending to the front and rear directions of the body 80.
