Process for the production of hempen and hemp-like yarns with a fineness of below 200 tex, by the working procedures of unpacking, softening, mixing with other fibres, emulsifying, standing, carding, refining and spinning, characterised in that the jute fibres are shortened to a predetermined length after the unpacking and before the softening and subsequently are mixed with cotton or cotton-like synthetic fibres, wool or wool-like synthetic fibres, flax or flax-like synthetic fibres or artificial silk. |
