Vehicle body with removable roof - has tubular frame to replace solid roof panel and to fit fabric roof

The solid roof panel on a vehicle is unbolted leaving a self- body. Support strips are fitted to the roof mountings and these carry the tubular frame (6,7,8) over which the fabric roof is stretched. The fabric is secured using thumb grips and the front cross member is fitted with a wind deflector. The rear cross strut can be hinged upwards for ventilation. USE/ADVANTAGE - Removable roof panel. Increases use of vehicle, improved ventilation in hot weather.
