A split-torque power-shift transmission consisting of a first planetary gear set (1) and a coupled gear (19) of layshaft construction between its input or output shaft (3 or 5) and its freely rotatable wheel set (13, 14). To increase the number of selectable gear ratios, a planetary gear set (6) with a coupled gear (20) associated with it in a corresponding manner is connected to the output of the planetary gear set (1). Extensions of the two layshafts (21, 25) of the coupled gears (19, 20) can be connected drivingly, via a clutch (31, 34), to the input or output shaft (3 or 10) of the other planetary gear set (1, 6) in each case. <IMAGE>
