What is described is a pressure reducer for gases of maximum purity, with a spring-loaded low-pressure diaphragm (1) which, together with a basic housing body (2), limits a low-pressure space (3), and with a valve (4, 5) which is arranged in the basic housing body (2), has a valve seat (4) and a movable valve body (5) and can be activated by the low-pressure diaphragm and of which the inlet is connected to a high-pressure feedline (6) and the outlet to the low-pressure space (3). In order as far as possible to prevent the number of moving parts in the pure-gas space and therefore the risk of particle contamination of the gas, provision is made for making the valve seat (4) in one piece with the basic housing body (2). <IMAGE>
