In a guide table (1) for power-driven tools, in particular portable circular saws (5), provision is made, to guide the latter, for a guide rail (4) whose guide member (8) cooperates with a counter-guide (9) in the baseplate (10) of the portable circular saw. At the same time, the guide rail (4) serves to clamp the workpiece (6), so that the latter can no longer move and a perfect saw cut is ensured. Since the guide rail (4) can also be used independently of the guide table (1), economic advantages result both in production and in application. <IMAGE>
