A motor cycle with chain drive comprises a frame (20) and an engine (25) mounted on this frame at a plurality of points. The engine (25) drives a driving wheel of the motor cycle via a chain (38). At at least one of a plurality of bearings (A, B, C, D) a connecting link (40) is coupled pivotably to the frame (20) and the engine (25) so that it can be pivoted in a vertical plane whereas, transversely to the frame plane, it is rigid. <IMAGE>
