Method for dissolving irregular deposits, e.g. different thicknesses of a metallic layer, on electrodes of a battery, particularly a zinc-bromium battery, which deposits are formed when energy is being stored and are at least partially dissolved into the electrolytes when energy is removed, the electrolyte fluids being kept in circulation during energy storage and removal, and the anion in oxidised form, especially bromium, being supplied at least to the electrolyte chamber or chambers with the metallic deposits, especially zinc. |
