摘要

A multipurpose hot melt adhesive powder can be prepd. by copolymerising caprolactam with polyamine salts of one of the following acids: terephthalic, sebacic, and adipic of formula: H2N-(CH2-CH2-NH)n-H, where n=1....5 and with melamine and opt. with p-amino-benzoic acid. The copolymer thus obtd. is ground together with ground dolomite which remains occluded in the finished product. The m.pt. of these powders ranges from 90-150 deg. C; the relative viscosity in conc. H2SO4 from 1.60 to 2.50; colour white to light yellow. Moisture absorption under 3%.
