The device for orienting and applying biopsy needles, in particular inside the tunnel-like console of a computed tomography scanner, consists of a band-like support 1 with parallel rows 2, 3 of apertures 4. A disc-shaped part 5 with an angle scale 6 is inserted into the apertures 4 of one row 2, and a guide tube 8 for a biopsy needle 7 is introduced centrally with respect to this disc-shaped part into the adjacent row.
