摘要

Various alkyl-methacrylates are prepd. using acetone-cyanohydrin and sulphuric acid in molar ratios of 1:1.74-1.9. A preamidation step at 85-135 deg. C is followed by an amidation step at 125-145 deg. C. The prepn. takes place in adjoining units of sulphate prodn., preamidation, amidation, a series of four hydrolysis and esterification submits a stripper, an extraction column, a number of azeotrope and alcohol recovering columns and of a final purification column.
