PURPOSE:To operate to carry in a work to a press utilizing power to take out the work from the press by providing a stroke mechanism to descend a movable cutter before a slide attains the bottom dead center to cut the work and absorb a descent of the slide. CONSTITUTION:When the slide 6 of a cutting metallic mold main body 1 descends, the tip of a movable member 11 of the stroke mechanism 7 abuts on a pressing member 3b above the movable cutter 3 to descend the movable cutter 3. Then, the long-sized work 4 is cut and afterward, a compression spring 12 to energize the movable member 11 is compressed to absorb the descent of the slide 6. During this time, a kick-out and the inversion of the cut work 4 and the forming of the work 4 are carried out. Further, when a crank is rotated, the slide 6 starts to ascend and the compression spring 12 is extended and the movable cutter 3 returns to the original position and the slide 6 further ascends and returns to the first position and prepares for the next cutting. By this method, the power to take out the cut work from the press is utilized to facilitate the operation to invert and convey the work to the press.
