PURPOSE:To position a connection of stator winding with power lead outward of a coil end and lower the overall height of a motor by insulation-fixing said connection to a machine casing. CONSTITUTION:To perform insulation-fixing of a connection of power lead 4 and stator winding end 12, the power lead is first connected with the stator winding end 12 and said connection is housed in a connection retainer 11. Said connection retainer 11 is manufactured by fitting at least two parts together or composed of a resin-integrated molded article. Then, the connection retainer 11 is fastened to the machine casing 10.
