PURPOSE:To cut a bond fixed section of a hollow yarn membrane module and provide a smooth cutting surface without blocking open sections of the hollow yarns with chips or flashes by cutting said bond fixed sections with a rotating blade having a cutting tip of an alloy. CONSTITUTION:A hollow yarn membrane module 7A, consisting of a number of bundled hollow yarn membranes with open ends being bonded and fixed with epoxy resin or the like, the resin hardness of which after hardening is 60 deg. or more, is fixed on a support base, and a bond fixed section of the hollow yarn membrane module 7A is cut with a rotating blade 3 provided with left band blade tips 4 and right band blade tips 5 of alloy of cemental carbide or the like on the outer periphery of a base metal 6. By said arrangement, fresh cutting tips come one after another on the cutting section of the bonding fixed section, and cutting is continued while chips, flashes and the like are thrown outside.
