PURPOSE:To maintain sensitivity high even at the time of repeated uses and to prevent deterioration of electric chargeability characteristics, image density, and occurrence of background stains by successively laminating on a conductive substrate an interlayer and a photosensitive layer to from a photosensitive body and incorporating an aliphatic mercaptan in said interlayer. CONSTITUTION:The interlayer of the photosensitive body obtained by successively laminating on the conductive substrate 1 in the interlayer 2 containing the aliphatic mercaptan, and the photosensitive layer 3. The photosensitive layer 3 may be of a functionally separated laminate type, thus permitting deterioration of chargeability characteristics to be prevented even at the time of repeated uses by incorporating the aliphatic mercaptan in the interlayer 2 of the photosensitive body as a main component, and as sharp copied image free from deterioration of image density and accordingly, background stains to be obtained. |
