<p>PURPOSE:To enhance recording quality, by finely dividing the recording control signals of a plurality of heat generating elements arranged in a line direction into standardized recording signals and supplying the standard recording signals to a plurality of the heat generating elements in predetermined timing during a recording period. CONSTITUTION:Control signals STB0-STB3 for the division recording of recording data D0-D3 and recording data signals SD0-SD3 are outputted to successively drive heat generating resistors R0-R3 by NAND output P0-P3 to generate heat and the divided data D0-D3 are successively recorded in the order of the first line and the second line and so forth. An oscillator OSC generates a standard recording signal having a predetermined pulse width each time when the standard signal from a clock CLK is inputted. A switch SWI changes over contacts E0-E3 supplying the standard recording signal each time when the standard signal from the clock CLK is inputted and the recording signals P0-P3 finely divided as NAND gate outputs are supplied to the individual heat generating resistors R0-R3 in a form equalized over the whole of a recording time in the timing changed over to the contacts E0-E3. Therefore, the lowering in recording quality due to the difference between feed timing and recording timing can be prevented.</p> |
