PURPOSE:To obtain always high-quality images without causing scratches and image flow not only at the time of an initial stage but also after repeated long uses by incorporating fluororesin powder and a graft fluoropolymer in the surface layer of a photosensitive layer formed no a conductive substrate. CONSTITUTION:The surface layer of the photosensitive body provided with the photosensitive layer on the conductive substrate contains the powder of the fluororesin, preferably, such as a homopolymer or copolymer of tetrafluoroethylene, trifluoroethylene, hexafluoropropylene, vinylfluoride, vinyli dene fluoride, or difluorodichloroethylene, in an amount of 1-50wt.% of the constituents of the surface layer, and the graft fluoropolymer, preferably, in an amount of 0.1-0.3wt.% of the fluororesin powder. It is preferred to use polymethyl methacrylate or polycarbonate as the binder resin of the surface layer, thus permitting the fluororesin powder to be uniformly dispersed into the surface layer and improved in dispersion stability by adding said fluororesin powder and said graft fluoropolymer to the surface layer, and accordingly, a uniform surface layer to be always obtained, and high-quality images high in durability to be successively obtained. |
