PURPOSE:To obtain the title composition excellent in surface gloss and good in impact resistance, by mixing a rubber-modified PS of a specified rubber particle diameter with a (meth)acrylic ester copolymer of a specified particle diameter at a specified mixing ratio. CONSTITUTION:A rubber-modified PS resin composition prepared by mixing 100pts.wt. rubber-modified PS (A) of a rubber content of 3-15wt.% and an average rubber particle diameter of 0.5-1.5mu with 3-25pts.wt. copolymer (B) comprising a methacrylic ester monomer and/or an acrylic ester monomer (a), an aromatic vinyl monomer (b) and a diene monomer (c) and having a particle diameter <=0.5mu. This composition can show excellent impact resistance and gloss. Therefore, it is useful in the production of housings of household electric appliances, OA machines, etc. by extrusion, injection molding, etc. |
