PURPOSE:To prevent failing to notice the shortage of a product and to ensure the quality by applying pressurizing force to a revolving mechanism having a punch with a pressurizing mechanism and examining the presence of a material to be calked through a pressure sensing sensor in such a state that the punch is brought into contact with the material to be calked. CONSTITUTION:A mechanical chassis 47 erected with shaft pins 52, 53, 54... is set on a pallet 47. A spindle shaft 21 operating a press cylinder mechanism (a pressurizing mechanism) 2 is moved downward to pressurize a connecting plate 13 to move downward with the pressure sensing sensor 12 between. The connecting plate 13 and a spindle mechanism (revolving mechanism) 3 are integrally moved downward to bring the top end of the punch 16 fixed to the lower end of a spindle shaft 31 into contact with the end surface of the shaft pin 52. In this state, the revolving mechanism 3 is driven to pressurize and rotate the punch 16 to calk the end surface of the shaft pin 52. The presence of each shaft pin is examined through the pressure sensing sensor 12. By this method, the shortage of the product is checked and the product with quality ensured is obtained.
