PURPOSE:To miniaturize the whole main spindle structure by transmitting the rotation of the second spindle whose axis aligns with that of a first spindle and which is rotatively drivable and also by turning the tool to the required position by means of the first spindle. CONSTITUTION:A rotary too is fitted into the tool holding hole 7a of the second spindle 7 provided to a tool rest 2, clamped, and made to rotate, and in addition the tool rest 2 is made to move for performing ordinary milling. In the next step, a rotary tool 20 is attached to a main spindle 3 through an offset tool 11 and secured to a rotary tool holder 11e. And the second spindle 7 is rotated by the motor 19 for the drive of the second spindle in the direction of an arrow E of F together with a connecting shaft 11b. Then the rotation is transmitted to the holder 11e for rotating the tool 20 in the direction of an arrow H or G for performing cutting eccentrically by random eccentric quantity of OFT1 to the main spindle 3. This eliminates extra structure and makes it possible to miniaturize the whole of the main spindle 3.
