PURPOSE:To obtain the titled substance having superconducting phenomenon at a higher temperature than that of liquid nitrogen, by bonding oxygen to a bonded substance or mixture of a specific lanthanoid based element (mixture) when Ba and, as necessary, Sr and/or Ca and Cu. CONSTITUTION:A bonded substance or mixture consisting of (A) one or more of compounds, such as oxides, carbonates or a nitrates of lanthanoid based elements other than Ce, Pr, Tb and Pm, (B) any of compounds of Ba similar to those described above or a combination thereof with any of compounds of Sr and/or Ca similar to those described above and (C) any of compounds of Cu similar to those described above is heated at >=800 deg.C in air so such that the whole substance may be a black sintered state and bonded with oxygen to afford the titled substance assuming a crystal structure different from a layered perovskite type (K2NiF4 type) bonding structure. |
