PURPOSE:To operate an identifying device in an always optimum timing by using an equivalent control signal of a digital automatic equalizer so as to shift the phase of an identification clock signal. CONSTITUTION:A variable phase shift circuit 34 is inserted between a clock recovery circuit 30 and a clock input terminal of an identifier 32. The variable phase shift circuit 34 consists of a decoder 35 and a variable phase shifter 36. Part of an equalizing control signal of an equalizing control circuit 13 is fed to the decoder 35, which applies code conversion form a phase shift control signal for the variable phase shifter 36. The variable phase shifter 36 shifts the phase of an identification clock signal from the clock recovery circuit 30 in response to the said phase shift control signal and gives an output to a clock input terminal 33 of the identifier 32. |
