PURPOSE:To attain flexible and effective picture display by retrieving and displaying picture information after designation time set optionally after the user inputs next pattern selection information. CONSTITUTION:When the user inputs the next pattern selection information from the input device 4 while display picture information of a pattern number is displayed on a display device 5, at first a choice check section 2a of the CPU 2 compares the inputted information with a choice stored in a storage device 1. In this case, when no proper choice exists, the display pattern information remains displayed, but when a proper choice exists, the CPU 2 checks whether or not a data representing the wait time in said choice column. Thus, when the wait time is designated, after the designation wait time elapses, said display pattern information is retrieved from the storage device 1 and displayed on the display device 5.
