The accessory instrument has an elongate shaft with a hand grip at one end and an aiming device at the other end, the aiming device consisting of a guide member which is made of a material permeable to X-radiation and which has a bore for the slidable guiding of a wire-like marking tool. The guide member has aim sections which are impermeable to X-radiation and which are spaced in the axial direction of the guide bore and, with the radiation direction aligned with the guide bore, are imaged approximately congruently.
