Compounds of the formula I RG-A-IN (I> where IN is the basic structure of a photoinitiator, A is a spacer group and RG is a functional reactive group as defined in the main claim, can be employed as coreactive photoinitiators for the photopolymerisation of systems containing ethylenically unsaturated compounds.
