A ladder rest is vertically adjustable along a post having a square base welded thereto. The use of four ladder rests, one at each corner, enables a ladder to be placed across the earth, without touching it. A panel of wood is placed across the length of the ladder to make a solid walkway. The gardener can do all the required digging or planting, without spoiling the structure of the soil, which could normally happen once the soil is trodden on. When digging or planting has finished, the ladder is hung back on the wall, and the four ladder rests put in the shed. <IMAGE> |
