PURPOSE:To generate a pulse independently of the pulse width of an input signal by providing a means feeding back an output signal of a differentiation pulse generating circuit so as to control the input signal. CONSTITUTION:The differentiation pulse generating circuit consists of NOR gates 1, 2, inverters 3, 4, 5 and a capacitor 6. A differentiation pulse is generated by a circuit comprising the NOR gates 2, inverters 3, 4, 5 and a capacitor 6 and an output pulse width TW depends on the delay time of the inverters 3, 5 and the time constant comprising a drive impedance of the inverter 4 and the capacitor 6. When the pulse width of the input signal is selected as tS>tW, a pulse of the pulse width tW is outputted at the output of the differentiation pulse generating circuit. In case of tS<tW, the input signal is controlled by feeding back the output of the generating circuit to the input of the NOR gate 1, and input to the section generating a differentiation pulse is the same as the case with tS>tW, and the pulse with the pulse width tW is outputted to the output of the differentiation pulse generating circuit.
