PURPOSE:To manufacture a cellulosic reverse osmosis membrane with sufficient salt removal rate and improved permeability by adding a surface active agent to the solution for preparing a membrane. CONSTITUTION:The solution in which a surface active agent such as polyoxyethylene oleyl ether or the like is dissolved in methanol or the like is added to the solution in which a cellulose derivatives such as a mixture of cellulose triacetate and cellulose diacetate or the like are dissolved in solvents such as dioxane, acetone and the like, and the solution for manufacturing a membrane is prepared. Said solution for manufacturing a membrane is cast over a glass plate, and after being dried, the same is immersed in cold water together with the glass plate, and a membrane is prepared by the method of peeling the membrane off the glass plate or the like. The membrane thus prepared is heat treated in hot water and a reverse osmosis membrane is manufactured. |
