PURPOSE:To excavate a trench with good accuracy by a method in which the surrounding ground of a steel pillar erected into a preceding pit is solidified with a solidifying agent, the steel pillar is pulled out, a guider with an excavator is penetrated into the hole formed, and excavation is made along the guider on the basis of the hole as a measure. CONSTITUTION:Steel pillars are erected into three or more preceding pits drilled at given intervals in the ground 1, and the surrounding ground of the steel pillars is solidified with a low-strength cement mortar 52. The steel pillars are pulled out of the cement mortar 52, and the guider 21 of an excavator 2 for underground continuous wall is put into the hole 6 formed. Excavation is made by a rotary bit 34 along the hole 6 while inducing the excavator 2 by the guider 21 to form a trench 7 for underground continuous wall. An underground continuous wall can thus be constructed with good accuracy without the use of a guide pile such as steel material, etc. |
