PURPOSE:To miniaturize a color image exposure part to miniaturize the whole of a color image recorder by providing a color correcting or density correcting optical filter in the vicinity of a fiber lens array so that this filter can be inserted to and removed from the optical axis of the fiber lens array. CONSTITUTION:A fiber lens array 240 which converges the light from the surface of an original to project this light onto the surface of a color photosensitive material S and optical filters 250 and 260 which are arranged between the fiber lens array 240 and the surface of the color photosensitive material S or the original and can be inserted to and removed from the optical axis of the fiber lens array 240 are provided. Since the fiber lens array 240 has a short focal length, the distance between a glass plate 2 and the photosensitive material S is shortened. Thus, a wide space is unnecessary and the color image recorder is miniaturized.
