PURPOSE:To reduce the temperature difference between water in the upper part of a bathtub and the water in the lower part of the same, by operating an air pump during additional heating and mixing heated buthtub water with air when the water is discharged into the bathtub. CONSTITUTION:When an air pump 6 is operated for bath, air, generated by the air pump 6, flows into a bathtub 1 together with heated bathtub water when the bathtub water, heated by a heat exchanger 2, is returned into a bathtub 1 through a connecting pipe 4. In this case, air moves upwardly in the buthtub water to generate an oscillation by the upward movement of the bathtub water and turbulence is generated in the bathtub water, whereby up-and-down movement is generated in the bathtub water. According to this method, the bathtub water may be heated uniformly in the temperature distribution in vertical direction.
