PURPOSE:To prevent waste of fuel and worsening of exhaust gas, by correcting a supply amount of air or a mixture of air in fuel to an engine in accordance with the ignition timing of the engine and its ignition timing error signal. CONSTITUTION:An engine 1 inducts air via an air cleaner 2, air flow sensor 3, intake pipe 4 and an intake branch pipe 5 and supplies fuel being injected from plural solenoid operated fuel injection valves 6. A microcomputer 8 inputs an engine speed detected by an optical slit 10 and an intake air amount measured by the air flow sensor 3. A supply amount of air or a mixture of air in fuel to the engine is corrected in accordance with the ignition timing of the engine and an ignition timing error signal. In this way, the engine, substantially improving a drop of the engine speed and its change, prevents waste of fuel and even deterioration of exhaust gas.
