PURPOSE:To achieve repeated rotation of a driven rotary member by fixed quantity of rotation in fixed direction through utilization of the frictional force of a spring, by coupling a drive rotary member and a driven rotary member to single shaft while winding with single coil spring, and producing repeated rotation of the drive rotary member. CONSTITUTION:A drive rotary member 2 and a driven rotary member 3 are wound through frictional force of a coil spring 4, then the drive rotary member 2 is rotated to rotate the driven member 3 through the spring 4. When one end 7a of the spring 4 contacts with a stopper 12, the spring 4 is blocked from rotation and energized in the direction for loosening the coil so as to idle only the the drive rotary member 2. When the direction of functioning force of the drive rotary member 2 is reversed, a bent tip 8 thereof with a stopper 11 so as to stop the spring 4 at that position, thereby the rotary angle of the driven member 3 is always constant for the angle of the drive rotary member 2 higher than a predetermined value. Consequently, the driven rotary member 3 repeats rotation in fixed direction by fixed random angle when the drive rotary member 2 repeats reciprocal motion.
