PURPOSE:To obtain a motor control circuit capable of shortening the starting time of the operation of a floppy disk driving device, by discriminating whether a frequency proportional to the rotating speed of a motor arrives at a reference value by a comparison circuit, and outputting a discrimination signal as the ready signal of a disk control circuit which controls a disk mechanism. CONSTITUTION:A signal from an F/G amplifier 5 which amplifies and waveform- arranges an AC signal proportional (proportional constant >=2) to the rotating speed of a tachometer generator, etc., and used for a part of circuit parts 4 and 5 for the velocity control of the motor of a motor control circuit system A usually is applied on an F/G signal processing and pulse conversion circuit part 6. And it is decided whether the AC signal of the F/G amplifier 5 arrives at around constant speed for the set rotating speed of the motor, and a decided output (h) is applied on the mechanical control circuit 7 of a floppy disk as the ready signal. In such a way, it is possible to detect the rotating speed nearer to the real time of the actual rotating speed of the motor, and to accelerate (resulting fast access) a disk control system. |
