摘要 <p>PURPOSE:To miniaturize the device as a whole, by attaching a multiple disc clutch as using a narrow space inside of a rotor for output, in a friction type continuously variable transmission, in which the rotor for output adapted to contact with a taper cone, is set as it can be shifted. CONSTITUTION:Rotating force of a taper cone 3 on its own axis, transmitted from a driving rotor 4, is transmitted to a rotor 11 for output to rotate this rotor 11, as a tapered face 3a of the taper cone 3 presses this rotor 11 for output. Then, a clutch body 8 is rotated with the rotor 11, as a projecting part 11a for engagement and an engaging groove 13 used for supporting friction plates, are engaged with each other. In this condition, when a multiple disc clutch A is operated to be connected, a transmitting member 7 integrated with an output shaft 6 in one body, and the clutch body 8 are connected with each other, and the rotating force of the clutch body 8 is transmitted to the output shaft 6. When the clutch A is disconnected, the transmission toward the output shaft 6 is cut off. At this time, as the projecting part 11a for engagement is engaged with the engaging grove 13 from the outside, if the rotor 11 is shifted, contact with the friction plate can be avoided.</p>
